CNN interviewed White House Policy Adviser Stephen Miller’s uncle on Friday and wondered what Stephen Miller’s own mother thinks about his immigration policies.

Miller’s uncle, David Glosser, has previously spoken out about his nephew’s politics and wrote an op-ed about his opposition to Miller in July. Glosser accuses Miller of being a hypocrite for opposing illegal immigration because members of his family once immigrated to the United States.

CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota spent about five minutes interviewing Glosser on Friday and essentially gave him free reign to trash his nephew.

Camerota asked at one point what Miller’s mother thinks about her son’s work in the White House.

“I’m just curious, do you know what Stephen Miller’s mother, your sister, thinks about this?” Camerota asked.

Glosser replied, “No, I’ve made it a point not to discuss politics with that branch of the family for some while now.”

In early October, The Hollywood Reporter was criticized for publishing mean comments about Miller from his third grade teacher, who accused him of being strange and eating glue. (RELATED: Hollywood Reporter Publishes Negative Comments From Stephen Miller’s Third Grade Teacher)

“I remember being concerned about him … he had such strange personal habits. He was a loner and isolated and off by himself all the time,” the teacher said.

The teacher was investigated by school officials but eventually returned to the classroom.
