Amy Schumer celebrated that her call for performers to boycott the Super Bowl LIII halftime is show is working, claiming that  “no one is stepping up to perform.”

“I have done 2 Super Bowl commercials in the last couple years and I’m so stupid thinking my opinion would matter, right? Well guess what? I may have made a difference,” the 37-year-old comedian wrote in a post she shared Wednesday on Instagram. (RELATED: Amy Schumer Cancels More Shows Per Doctor’s Orders)

“No one is stepping up to perform,” she added. “Maybe they wouldn’t have anyway. But at least I tried to help out and do what other people are too greedy or afraid to.”

Schumer continued, “Would you do that to stand up for people of color? I may have made an impact. You can write about sports and even be the best at it but what have you done to help the marginalized or under represented?”

“I will continue to do everything I can,” the “Snatched” star declared. “Even with all the snide little white sports writers making cutting remarks.”

The “Trainwreck” actress wasn’t done yet. She then shared a quote she credited to feminist Gloria Steinem.

“Any woman who chooses to behave like a full human being should be warned that armies of the status quo will treat her as something of a dirty joke,” the Steinem quote read.

The comments came in light of her original call in October for stars to decline performing at the annual showdown of the two best teams in the National Football League, like Rihanna reportedly did, in support of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

“Posted by my friend @yamaneika wouldn’t it be so cool if @adamlevine and @maroon5 stepped down too? What do you guys think,” Schumer captioned her post, along with a screenshot of an article that read, “Rihanna Declined Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show Offer In Support Of Colin Kaepernick.”

In a follow-up post later that day, the “I Feel Pretty” star said that people shouldn’t expect to see her in Super Bowl ads next year because “hitting the NFL with advertisers is the only way to really hurt them.”

“I personally told my reps I wouldn’t do a Super Bowl commercial this year,” Schumer captioned her post. “I know it must sound like a privilege-ass sacrifice but it’s all I got. Hitting the NFL with the advertisers is the only way to really hurt them.”
