Matthew McConaughey brought a lot of energy for the the Texas Longhorns Tuesday night in the Sugar Bowl against Georgia.

The Texas superfan strolled the sidelines like a Navy SEAL getting his guys riled up before a big mission as the Longhorns defeated Georgia 28-21.

We all know McConaughey can be incredibly entertaining, and he didn’t disappoint Tuesday night. Am I going to go out and say he’s the reason Texas won? No, but I’m also not ruling it out. We have to be willing to look at all the evidence. (RELATED: Texas Blows Away Georgia 28-21 In The Sugar Bowl)

Just like a Navy SEAL protecting a VIP asset, he stood right next to Coach Tom Herman. McConaughey wasn’t going to let a single thing happen to the man in charge of winning the biggest bowl game for the Longhorns in years.

I hope you all find something in your life that you love as much as McConaughey clearly loves Texas. Have they had a few hard years in the program?

Absolutely. Expectations have always been high and the team has regularly failed to meet them. However, it looks like UT is finally back.

How much of a role did my guy Matthew play in that? I’d like to believe a very large one.

In all seriousness, I’m glad to see McConaughey’s fandom on full display. It’s awesome to see one of the most famous guys on the planet just fully immerse himself into the college football world. He didn’t hold back any of his passion for his team.

He embraced the moment, and Texas smacked Georgia. You simply have to love it.
