Justin Bieber is reportedly seeking treatment for depression and anxiety, but “it has nothing to do with” his new bride Hailey Bieber, previously Hailey Baldwin.

“Justin [Bieber] seems down and tired. He has been struggling a bit,” a source close to the 24-year-old singer shared with People magazine Tuesday.  (SLIDESHOW: 142 Times Josephine Skriver Barely Wore Anything)

However, the source added that Bieber’s struggles have nothing to do with his 22-year-old supermodel Hailey Baldwin. (RELATED: Report: Selena Gomez Takes Break From Spotlight Following Justin Bieber Breakup)

“It has nothing to do with Hailey — he is very happy being married to her,” the source added. “It’s just something else that he struggles with mentally. He has good help around him and is receiving some treatment. He seems confident he will feel better soon.”

Another source confirmed that the “Love Yourself” hitmaker was in the process of getting counseling. A third source elaborated on what is wrong and how the singer struggles with “the idea of fame.”

“He [Bieber] started off as a typical sweet, Canadian teen. He was such a great kid, honestly super sweet and very polite and nice to everyone around him,” the insider explained. “Having this huge amount of fame completely changed him. He had access to anything and everything and was surrounded by people who just said ‘Yes.'”

“He’s emotional and struggles a lot with the idea of fame — being followed, having his every move stalked by fans, cameras in his face,” the source added. “It all sets him off and he often feels like everyone is out to get him.”

Bieber and Baldwin recently made headlines when they opened up in a Vogue March cover article about their relationship and how the singer dealt with his fame early on.

“I started really feeling myself too much. ‘People love me, I’m the s—,’ that’s honestly what I thought. I got very arrogant and cocky. I was wearing sunglasses inside,” Bieber explained.

“I found myself doing things that I was so ashamed of, being super-promiscuous and stuff, and I think I used Xanax because I was so ashamed,” he added.
