Krasinski confirmed to Ellen DeGeneres in November that he is back on board as a writer for “A Quiet Place 2.” Sources are now saying he will be directing the sequel as well, according to Deadline Hollywood. The entertainment news outlet is also reporting that Blunt will be back to reprise her role.

The original “A Quiet Place” earned $50.3 million its opening weekend at the box office, we’ll have to wait a little more than a year to see if the sequel can top it.
