President Donald Trump opened up his second summit with North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un on Wednesday in Hanoi, Vietnam.

In the two-day meeting, the president will seek to build on the developments of the first summit in June, which focused on decreasing the tensions within the Korean Penninsula and taking steps toward denuclearization. “Chairman Kim and I just signed a joint statement in which he reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula,” said Trump at a press conference in the first summit.

Opening up Wednesday’s summit with a ceremonial handshake, Trump said, “I think it’ll be very successful” and that both leaders have “a great relationship.”

One of the major talking points will be whether or not Trump will declare an end to the Korean War, in which he responded, “We’ll see.”

However, these meetings are not the only ones that President Trump has had with a Kim. The president met with Kim Kardashian last May to grant a pardon for Alice Marie Johnson, who served a life sentence for a first-time and non-violent drug offense. “[Trump] really understood, and I am very hopeful that this will turn out really positively,” said Kardashian to Mic.
