Luke Walton is no longer the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to Chris Haynes on Friday afternoon, Walton and the organization “agreed to part ways.” Walton had coached the team for three years before being shown the exit door.

Well, that’s all she wrote folks. LeBron James joined the Lakers and Magic Johnson and Luke Walton were both gone in under a year. (RELATED: LeBron James Appears To Bounce Ball Into TV Broadcast On Purpose)

The question has to be asked whether or not the three-time NBA champion killed the whole organization.

This past season was a disaster for the Lakers. How much of that falls on Walton is unknown at this point. I’d guess, for the most part, that he’s not really as responsible as people would want you to think.

The dude was just getting scapegoated left and right. The reality is that chaos follows LeBron James wherever he goes.

Now, it has cost Walton his job. The good news for him is that he likely won’t be unemployed for long. He’s a young and talented coach some team will take a chance on him.

As for LeBron, I’m not confident at all that things will get better for the Lakers. I hope he knows what he’s doing because right now the whole thing looks like a circus, but nobody is finding it funny.
