Josh Rosen wasn’t featured in the Cardinals 2019 NFL schedule announcement video.
The Cardinals released the video on Twitter Wednesday night, and Rosen wasn’t anywhere to be seen. It’s pretty damn strange to not include the team’s starting quarterback and first-round draft pick from a year ago in any major production for the upcoming season. Could this be a coincidence? Sure, and there’s also a chance I’ll be married to a supermodel by the end of today. The odds it was a coincidence that Rosen was omitted and the odds of me marrying a Victoria’s Secret Angel by midnight are about the same.
It’s right around zero.

If the Cardinals wanted to tamp down the belief that they’re drafting Kyler Murray first overall, they just failed miserably.
Not putting in the starting QB into a massive video is a pretty clear indication the franchise doesn’t view him as super important. (RELATED: Josh Rosen Participates In Voluntary Offseason Conditioning With The Arizona Cardinals)

I almost feel bad for Rosen at this point. The writing is so obviously on the wall, and he just has to sit there and deal with the fact he’s almost certainly going to lose his job.
That can’t be easy at all. The good news is: He’ll be scooped up quickly if the Cardinals cut him loose after drafting Murray. Josh Rosen wasn’t featured in the Cardinals 2019 NFL schedule announcement video.
In the meantime, I wouldn’t expect the hype around the Oklahoma Heisman winner to quiet down anytime soon, especially after the team’s announcement video.
