Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris was confronted by a Trump supporter at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas over her positions on immigration Saturday.

Turning Point USA director of Hispanic engagement Anna Paulina approached the 2020 presidential candidate, but was quickly rebuffed by an aide. Paulina posted a video of the encounter on her Twitter page, which quickly went viral. (RELATED: Here Are All The Politicians Who Rushed To Judgment On The Smollett ‘Hate Crime’)

Paulina ripped Harris for dodging her questions.

“She was more concerned with taking selfies than the trafficking of children,” Paulina told The Daily Caller.

Paulina has faced some criticism for her decision to approach Harris, including from CNN personality Ana Navarro-Cardenas, who said Paulina’s line of questioning was a “verbal assault.”

However, Paulina says that she was just trying to ask the senator a question, and that the criticism she has received is misplaced. (RELATED: Ana Navarro Loses It When Steve Cortez Says She’s On The Left)

“Me asking questions was not harassing her,” Paulina said.
