Barbara Corcoran celebrated her 70th birthday in a not-so-conventional way over the weekend by surprising her guests with a funeral.

Guests arrived at the party to find Corcoran “dead” in a coffin wearing a beautiful red dress, Page Six reported. The whole setup included two flower arrangements and a podium where guests could honor Corcoran.

The “Shark Tank” star posted some photos from the party to her Instagram.

“Surprise 70th!! I surprised my guests laid out in a coffin on Saturday,” she captioned the photos. “After 90 friends and family paid their respects, I popped out of the coffin in a red Carolina Herrera gown to the Diana Ross song ‘I’m Alive!’, and danced the Tango. What the heck, you only die once, you might as well be around for it!” (RELATED: Mark Cuban Gives Health Update After Missing Scheduled ‘View’ Appearance)

Corcoran’s birthday cake matched the playful theme. The cake featured a shark eating a Barbie doll meant to be Corcoran.

The theme was unsurprisingly “Tango” and a professional tango dancer was there for the evening.

“Shark Tank” co-stars Daymond John and Mark Cuban were in attendance and Cuban jokingly called the whole party “creepy” in an Instagram story.
