Melania Unveils Stunning Newly-Renovated WH Bowling Alley

First lady Melania Trump unveiled the stunning, newly-renovated bowling alley at the White House with a celebration involving children of Secret Service members.

In pictures shared by the first lady’s office Wednesday, we get our first glimpse of the incredible work that went underway after she welcomed the children from her U.S. Secret Service detail for an afternoon of bowling in the refurbished place. The alley, which is located inside the White House, was “first installed in 1973 during the Nixon Administration. Since its installation, many presidents and first families have enjoyed use of the bowling alley,” a press release from FLOTUS office read. “The original 1973 design lasted until 1994 under the Clinton Administration, which oversaw the last major renovation,” it added. “Since then, various odds and ends have been refreshed over time.” (RELATED: Tiffany Trump Stuns In Sleeveless Black Dress At WH Christmas Party)

The release continued, “In an effort to preserve this piece of history and family fun, Mrs. Trump oversaw restoration of the original wooden lane, and the bowling alley itself underwent a full renovation with updated electrical wiring, new mechanics, and a fresh interior.”

And judging by the pictures, all that hard work clearly paid off. It is truly is a sight to see.

Later, the first lady shared a couple of pictures from all the fun on Instagram.

She captioned the great post simply, “Wonderful to host children of our @SecretService agents today in the newly renovated bowling alley in the residence of the @WhiteHouse! My family appreciates all that Secret Service does to keep us safe. Thank you! #BeBest.”
