MSNBC announced Monday that they have scheduled a town hall with Democratic California Sen. and presidential candidate Kamala Harris for later this month.

The event, which will take place at Wofford College in South Carolina, will take place May 28 and be moderated by “The Last Word” host Lawrence O’Donnell, as first reported by The Hill.

“Sen. Harris will discuss how she plans to win over voters in the early primary state, what’s at stake in the 2020 presidential election and more,” the MSNBC press release states.

This will be Harris’s third town hall since she announced her presidential campaign, the first two of which aired on CNN. The first took place at the end of January, a week after she formally entered the race and garnered 1.95 million viewers, which remains the top CNN presidential town hall this election cycle. Her second CNN town hall, which occurred in April, had a audience of approximately half-a-million fewer than the first.

The only town hall MSNBC has hosted thus far with a 2020 candidate was with New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, which had an audience of 1.2 million viewers.
