“TREASON!” President Donald Trump tweeted in part Friday morning about his 2016 presidential campaign, which he claimed was “conclusively spied on.”

Trump began with a nod to “Fox & Friends,” mentioning a poll discussed on the show Friday morning. “New Fox Poll: 58% of people say that the FBI broke the law in investigating Donald J. Trump,” he tweeted.

The president immediately followed that with claims of spying, suggesting that jail time should be a possibility for any who were found to be involved.

“My Campaign for President was conclusively spied on,” he added. “Nothing like this has ever happened in American Politics. A really bad situation. TREASON means long jail sentences, and this was TREASON!”

Trump then turned the focus on House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, who has been at the forefront of continued investigations into the president. He also was behind the push to hold Attorney General Barr in contempt of Congress for failing to comply with subpoenas for the full, unredacted Mueller report. “Will Jerry Nadler ever look into the fact that Crooked Hillary deleted and acid washed 33,000 emails AFTER getting a most powerful demand notice for them from Congress?” he asked.

The DOJ maintained that federal law regarding grand jury testimony prevented Barr from turning over a fully unredacted report.
