Meghan McCain revealed the ending to the HBO series “Game Of Thrones” on-air Monday, shocking fans and her co-hosts.

The moment happened as the hosts began to discuss what people thought of the ending, according to a report published by Entertainment Tonight. McCain called the ending of the show “horrible” and explained why she thought who ended up on the throne shouldn’t have.

McCain started her rant by prefacing, “Sorry, this a spoiler.”

The audience and her hosts were still shocked following McCain’s reveal of who ended up sitting on the Iron Throne. Audible gasps could be heard from the audience and co-host Sunny Hostin claimed she was only on season four. McCain apologized but pointed out that dedicated fans of the medieval fantasy should have already known the ending. She later apologized again on Twitter.

“I’m sorry, but it’s all over the internet,” McCain said. “I wasn’t told I wasn’t allowed to say it. I’m sorry, everyone. It’s all over the internet. You would have found out one way or the other. As a dedicated fan who watched it live last night like everyone was supposed to, OK?”

“Why is this a hot topic then if I’m not supposed to talk about it?” she added. ” … Then I don’t know why I have notes for a hot topic I wasn’t supposed to talk about.”
