The New England Patriots are set to ink wide receiver Julian Edelman to a two-year contract extension.
The Super Bowl 53 MVP is finalizing an extension with the Patriots, according to a report from NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

This is a big-time signing for the Patriots. The NFL is a business, and players come and go all the time, especially in New England, but it’s almost impossible to envision Edelman playing on another team. Edelman has now been in New England for over a decade and has won three Super Bowls. Edelman will go down as one of the greatest slot receivers of all time and deserves to end up in the Hall of Fame.
