It was a difficult month for MSNBC prime-time anchor Rachel Maddow, who saw her ratings decline for another time.

Maddow’s ratings dropped again in a trend that has continued for every month over the course of 2019.

“The Rachel Maddow Show” averaged 2,450,000 viewers per night in the month of June, down from 2,608,000 in the month of May, according to Nielsen Media Research. (RELATED: MSNBC’S Rachel Maddow Loses Half-A-Million Viewers After Implosion Of Collusion Conspiracy)

Maddow’s show was the third-highest rated show on cable news behind “Hannity,” which finished first with 3,217,000 average viewers per night, and “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” which finished in second place with an average of 2,841,000 average viewers per night. Both Hannity and Carlson saw an increase in viewership from the month of May, improving from 3,138,000 average viewers per night, and 2,761,000 viewers per night, respectively.

Maddow’s ratings have plummeted since the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report earlier this month. Over the past two years, Maddow has dedicated much of her show to speculation that President Donald Trump may have colluded with members of the Russian government. However, Mueller’s report found no direct evidence that Trump or anybody in his campaign colluded with Russia to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. Her initial ratings following Attorney General Bill Barr’s summary of the Mueller report dropped 17%, and the recent ratings report show she still hasn’t recovered.
