Dez Bryant is apparently a big supporter of suspended Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt.

“To be truthfully honest, I’m a huge fan of Kareem Hunt, believe it or not. Things happen. Man, ain’t nobody perfect,” the former Cowboys star told TMZ in a video posted Tuesday. He also added the running back would have a huge year for the Browns once he got off suspension.

I’m not an expert, but I’m pretty sure praising Kareem Hunt isn’t a great look for a guy trying to get back into the NFL. (RELATED: Dez Bryant Reveals If He Wants To Keep Playing In The NFL. Here’s What He Said)

Bryant wants to keep playing football, but he doesn’t have a team right now. I’m not sure the quickest way to get a deal is to be praising a guy to TMZ who is on video appearing to get physical with a woman.

Again, I’m not an expert, but that seems like common sense.

It’s not like Hunt got released by the Chiefs because he got a minor traffic ticket or was drunk in public. The Chiefs sent him packing because the video released by TMZ was brutal.

Even if you did support Kareem Hunt, why the hell would you publicly proclaim that to the world? I’m sure there are several NFL GMs who would see it as a sign of poor judgement from Bryant.

I have no idea if Bryant will play in the NFL again. He’s probably got enough talent, but he might want to relax on the chatter about being a Kareem Hunt fan.

A little common sense can go a long way.
