Los Angeles Lakers player Danny Green claims he was robbed while in Canada.

Green, who won a title with the Raptors last season, was in Vancouver at an Airbnb with some friends when things went really bad. They apparently left their bags briefly unattended and somebody ran off with them. (RELATED: Los Angeles Clippers Sign Kawhi Leonard)

Green said the following on Inside The Green Room, according to Yahoo Sports on Tuesday:

So we go check out the Airbnb and we go upstairs and we’re there for about 10 minutes checking out the map like ‘oh shit Canada has a lot of stuff going on,’ we didn’t know there was all this stuff. … So we go back outside and we pretty much got robbed. Not robbed of everything, but two book bags gone — and one of the book bags had A LOT of stuff in it. We ran the streets like savages looking for whoever took these book bags.

Who the hell just sees some bags and runs off with them? Seriously, what is wrong with you? These thieves are lucky Danny Green and his boys didn’t find them.

Judging from what Green said about “A LOT” of stuff being in a bag, it doesn’t sound like a situation you wanted to be in if they found the people responsible.

I also thought everybody in Canada was supposed to be super nice. Isn’t that what our neighbors to the north are all about?

I was under the impression that Canadians were the most polite people on the planet. I’m pretty sure walking off with Danny Green’s bags isn’t very hospitable.

Shame on you, Canada. Green and the Raptors bring you guys a championship and this is how you repay him? Absolutely disgusting.

No wonder he left for the Lakers.
