In one of the latest missions conducted aboard the International Space Station, NASA has attached four high-definition cameras to the outside of the ISS to stream live video of Earth 24-hours a day.
NASA launched the experiment with High Schools United with NASA to Create Hardware (HUNCH) according to iflscience.com, and students assisted in helping design the cameras, which are exposed to the sun’s radiation and will give astronauts a chance to observe how the instruments are affected.
The feed is occasionally lost when one camera switches to another or when the ISS orbits the dark side of the planet, but when it’s up, it shows incredible live shots of Earth.
