John Legend called Donald Trump “a racist” when he got into an argument with one of the candidate’s sons.
After Trump canceled his rally in Chicago Friday because a slew of protesters showed up, Donald Trump Jr. tweeted that some of the protesters couldn’t even explain why they were there. (RELATED: Is Donald Trump Getting Replaced By George Lopez?)
“Ha 5 students when asked why they were protesting couldn’t even answer,” Trump Jr. tweeted. “The participation medal/micro aggression generation is pretty sad!”
Legend quickly defended the protester’s motives.
“I think they were protesting your racist father,” Legend tweeted back. “This isn’t complicated.”
