Three Jeopardy contestants were stumped Thursday night after being asked a question about special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.
Jeopardy asked the question: “In 2017, this ex-national security adviser pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI?” One contestant guessed White House chief of staff John Kelly and another player thought it was former White House adviser Sebastian Gorka. The answer was in fact Michael Flynn, who served as President Donald Trump’s national security adviser before resigning his post in 2017 after becoming the subject of Mueller’s investigation.
After pleading guilty to lying to investigators, Flynn’s sentencing has been delayed. A federal judge ordered Flynn to return to court Monday to discuss plans for his sentencing.
