Chelsea Handler and others in the entertainment industry speculated on Friday that the anonymous person behind the anti-President Donald Trump New York Times op-ed was Melania Trump.

“So, come forward girl,” the 43-year-old comedian tweeted to her millions of followers, along with a picture of the first lady next to a quote from Trump blasting the person’s “cowardly actions.”

“If a person is bold enough to accuse people of negative actions, they have a responsibility to publicly stand by their words and people have the right to be able to defend themselves,” FLOTUS statement read. ” To the writer of the op-ed — you are not protecting this country, you are sabotaging it with your cowardly actions.”

And she was not alone. One person had a theory that if “you take the first letters of the 6th, 12th, 25th+27th Pps in that anonymous NYT op-ed they spell out B BST–BE BEST. I see you Melania.”
