Dua Lipa shut down pregnancy rumors that began after she posted a picture on Instagram and used emojis like a baby bottle and little angel in the caption.
“I like finding little random emojis,” the 25-year-old singer shared during her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” when asked about the reports. The comments were noted by E! News in a piece published Tuesday.

“I posted it, and then I look at the comments, and then somebody says, ‘Is she pregnant?'” Lipa continued. “And I look at the picture, I look at the comment, I look at the picture, I look at the comment [and] I’m like, ‘Surely, I don’t look pregnant.'” (RELATED: Celebrate Anna Kendrick’s Birthday With Her Hottest Looks [SLIDESHOW])
The “New Rules” hitmaker explained that next she saw stories coming out about people saying she had “posted some cryptic message” and that it was her way of announcing her “pregnancy.” (RELATED: Singer Kacey Musgraves Turns 31 Years Old)
“And I’m just like, ‘Oh my god. These emojis have come to bite me in the ass,'” Dua said. “I am not pregnant, just to clear it up. Not pregnant.”
The pictures were initially posted on Instagram along with the emojis. Later, she decided to delete the captions. However, she ended up keeping the pictures with the emojis, like sparkles, a teddy bear and baby bottle on her Twitter post.
