New York City Police arrested 20-year-old Sofia Haley Marks in connection with the suspected overdose death of Robert De Niro’s 19-year-old grandson.
Marks was arrested at 6:00 p.m. Thursday as part of an undercover sting operation executed by the New York Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration and Department of Homeland Security. The alleged drug dealer, known as “Percocet Princess,” is believed to have sold the fentanyl-laced drugs that led to Leandro De Niro Rodriquez’ death, according to the New York Post. Leandro was found in his Financial District apartment July 2, and a white powdery substance and drug paraphernalia were found near his body, the outlet reported.

Investigators continued searching her home Thursday, and have federally charged Marks with the distribution of narcotics. She is expected to face arraignment in Manhattan Federal Court on Friday, according to the Post.
Leandro’s mother, Drena De Niro, took to social media soon after her son’s death and to claim that his dealer knowingly sold him the tainted drugs that killed him.
“Someone sold him fentanyl-laced pills that they knew were laced yet still sold them to him,” she posted on Instagram. “So for all these people still fucking around selling and buying this shit, my son is gone forever.” (RELATED: Robert De Niro Is A Dad Again At Age 79)

The city medical examiner has not yet revealed Leandro’s official cause of death, the Post reported.
Leandro was laid to rest Saturday at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel on the Upper East Side, which previously hosted the funerals for Heath Ledger, John Lennon and other legendary entertainers, according to the outlet.
