The Texas Youth Summit, a yearly gathering for young conservatives, has announced that Republican Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert will no longer appear as a guest speaker after surveillance footage showed Boebert and her date groping each other in a crowded theater.

The congresswoman will no longer speak at the Sept. 29 event, which also features Donald Trump Jr.; his fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle; Republican Florida Rep. Byron Donalds and conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, according to TMZ. The summit takes place just outside of Houston.

“The Texas Youth Summit is how we counter the effects of the Left and begin to win back the hearts and minds of our nation’s most precious resource: our future generations,” the event’s website reads.

The Texas Youth Summit’s social media posts announcing Boebert as a featured speaker at their conservative youth conference have disappeared from their platforms as of Monday, just three days after they were posted. “We are excited to add firebrand Congresswoman @laurenboebert from Colorado’s third district to our all-star @texasyouthsummit lineup,” the now-deleted post read. The summit initially announced Boebert as a speaker on Friday, one day after she publicly apologized for her actions, Insider noted. Boebert and her date were kicked out of a Sept. 10 performance of the musical “Beetlejuice” in Denver, Colorado, after theatergoers complained that they were vaping, singing along with the show and filming the performance. Surveillance footage later revealed that Boebert’s date was groping her breasts while she grabbed between his legs.
