The Young Turks co-host Ana Kasparian got heated when discussing transgender ideology during a visit to the PBD Podcast on Thursday.

Kasparian said that she despises the imposition that transgender activists have had on her life and that she will not back down from sharing her feelings publicly. (RELATED: ‘Young Turks’ Star Ana Kasparian Slams Liberals Using ‘Birthing Person’ To Describe A Woman)

“I do not like to be bullied or pressured into saying or believing things that I do not believe. I find that terminology degrading,” she said.

Patrick Bet-David, the host of the podcast, asked why she finds gender activist terminology degrading.

“Because, I’m not a birthing person,” she said.

She added that not all women “have the capacity to get pregnant,” and they shouldn’t have their womanhood called into question.

She dismissed the notion that one needs to be called a “birthing person” to find the term “offensive.” She claimed that one doesn’t need to be called the n-word to understand it’s “problematic.”

Kasparian added that she was called a “birthing person” within a “medical setting.”

“But, this is a doctor who knows I’m a biological woman. Call me a woman,” she demanded, “But, I had a conversation with that doctor. Why did you feel the need to call me a birthing person? Like, where did that come from?”

She claimed that medical providers in the state of California are hit with penalties if they don’t use the “proper” gender-inclusive terminology.

Kasparian, a political liberal, says that she has spent her entire career defending the transgender community. However, she said that her aversion to being called a “birthing person” has led to “ridiculous outrage” by a “fringe component” of transgender activists.

Kasparian has been publicly outspoken about her disdain for having gender terminology forced upon her. Her stance has sparked accusations of transphobia and caused one trans-identifying employee of The Young Turks to resign.
