Republican Florida Sen. Rick Scott will hold a press conference Tuesday with Florida Congressional leaders to announce that all 21 members of Florida’s Republican Congressional Delegation have endorsed him in his bid for a second Senate term, the Daily Caller has first learned.

Scott has also been endorsed by more than 100 Florida state lawmakers, 60 Florida sheriffs, the Florida Police Chiefs Association, the Florida Association of State Troopers, dozens of statewide organizations and former President Donald Trump.

“It’s truly an honor to be endorsed by so many incredible Florida leaders who are making the difference in the direction our country is headed. We are partners fighting to make Washington work for Florida families and, together, we are taking on the Democrats’ tax and spend agenda which has wreaked havoc on families and small businesses and caused skyrocketing inflation across our state,” Scott told the Caller before the press conference. “We are trying to stop the insane open borders agenda of Joe Biden and fight all attempts by Congressional Democrats to try and turn Florida into a woke, socialist nightmare that we see today in many blue states.” (RELATED: Sen. “I’m proud to stand next to my great colleagues and look forward to continuing to serve alongside them in the Florida delegation. We are committed to working hard this year to secure even more Republican wins in Florida in November!” he added.

HERE IS A FULL LIST OF ENDORSEMENTS FROM FLORIDA’S REPUBLICAN CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION:

  • Sen. Marco Rubio
  • Rep. Matt Gaetz
  • Rep. Neal Dunn
  • Rep. Kat Cammack
  • Rep. Aaron Bean
  • Rep. John Rutherford
  • Rep. Michael Waltz
  • Rep. Cory Mills
  • Rep. Bill Posey
  • Rep. Daniel Webster
  • Rep. Gus Bilirakis
  • Rep. Anna Paulina Luna
  • Rep. Laurel Lee
  • Rep. Vern Buchanan
  • Rep. Greg Steube
  • Rep. Scott Franklin
  • Rep. Byron Donalds
  • Rep. Brian Mast
  • Rep. Mario Diaz Balart
  • Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar
  • Rep. Carlos Gimenez

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Rick as Governor and now as Senator, and he has proven to be a fighter who will always put Florida first. Northwest Florida is home to critical military installations, and together we have been able to fight for important resources for our men and women in uniform and our veterans,” Gaetz told the Caller. “We work together to deliver for families in my district, like we did recently to make sure the Air Force Special Operations Command remains strong at Hurlburt Field. Florida’s first district is home to many brave veterans who have given so much to ensure we live in a free nation – and I know I can always count on Rick when I need to get something done in the Senate to help them. Florida is the best state for our military families and veterans in large part because of what Rick did as Governor and now as Senator.”

Scott endorsed Trump early in November before multiple other candidates, including current Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, dropped out of the race. (RELATED: Florida Sen. Rick Scott Breaks Precedent, Endorses Trump Over DeSantis)

He announced his endorsement of Trump in an op-ed for Newsweek, in which he called on Republicans to unite behind the former president and expressed his belief that Trump is the only candidate who can defeat President Joe Biden.

Scott faces no serious competition in the GOP primary as multiple Democratic candidates vie for their party’s nomination. Cook Political Report ranks the election as “Likely R.”

The press conference will likely start around 5:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday.
