Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson received huge applause after joining podcast host Joe Rogan on stage for a comedy show Monday night.

Carlson joined the live recording of a weekly comedy podcast, “Kill Tony,” which judges a handful of up-and-coming comics who each perform for 60 seconds at Rogan’s Comedy Mothership Club in Austin, Texas. Roughly 30 minutes into the set, show host Tony Hinchcliffe announced Carlson and Rogan onto the stage making the crowd erupt into a loud applause.

Carlson and Rogan could be seen greeting everyone on stage as viewers sitting in front could be heard continuing to cheer the two on. (RELATED: ‘Rabies-Infested Hen House’: Joe Rogan Lights Into ‘The View’)

“Tucker had no idea this was going on till about 30 seconds ago,” Rogan stated. “He had no idea he was going on stage, he’s just finding out right now.”

“We were literally at dinner, and he’s [Rogan] like I wanna show you my new place. And we were standing backstage and I didn’t know I was coming out till I heard my name,” Carlson stated.

As the group began to cycle through the comics, Hinchcliffe asked Carlson what he thought about comedian Enrique Chacon after he had just performed, asking if he watches a lot of stand-up comedy.

“I love this man,” Carlson responded.

“Aw, thank you Tucker. Maybe in return you could get me a green card,” Chacon stated as everyone laughed. “I’ll do any gig in this country, but outside the country I’m a have to hit up my man Tucker, you know what I mean?”

“You’re already taking jobs Americans can’t do,” Carlson teased back.

“I was going to vote for you, but you know what? You lost a good one here, but actually I can’t vote,” Chacon stated while laughing.

“No, I meant it as a compliment!” Carlson stated.

“Vote for him? Wait, hold on, Enrique who do you think Tucker Carlson is?” Hinchcliffe asked.

The panel continued working through two more comics before landing on comedian Kam Patterson. Following Patterson’s 60-second set, he could be seen warmly greeting Carlson and Rogan before revealing that his grandma hates Carlson.

“Yeah, this is crazy – my grandma hates you n*gga,” Patterson stated as Carlson and the crowd laughed.

“She doesn’t mean it,” Carlson replied.

“Yea the f*ck she does,” Patterson quipped back. “Yes, she does! She can’t stand your a*s, dawg. She can’t stand you. This is great man! She’s gonna love this sh*t, man.”

The comics notably ended with William Montgomery who gave a nod to Carlson throughout his set.

“Backstage Tucker actually asked me if I could tell some jokes in Russian,” Montgomery began. “But seriously, Tucker, my family has always worshipped you. It’s awesome that you came down from heaven to do Kill Tony.”

Montgomery continued to hit on political topics, poking fun at President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, as well Hillary Clinton. During his Q&A with the panel, Hinchcliffe asked Montgomery how he felt about Carlson being on the panel.

“It really is a treat. Tucker, I genuinely have to ask you – did that one guy [Larry Sinclair] suck Obama’s d*ck? Did that actually happen?” Montgomery questioned.

“I have the answer, and let me say I don’t judge, but oh yeah,” Tucker responded as the crowd went wild.

The show wrapped with a guest appearance from country legend Wynonna Judd and a rap performance from Azmattic before Hinchcliffe thanked the panel and band as he asked for applause from the crowd.

“Let’s see how loud this place can get for Jim Norton! Joe Rogan! Tucker motherf*cking Carlson!” Hinchcliffe shouted.
