Reality TV star Kendra Wilkinson appeared on ‘The Today Show’ Tuesday morning to promote her new memoir, ‘Sliding into Home.’ In the book, she dishes about what really went on in the Playboy Mansion and reveals juicy stories about her involvement with drugs, alcohol and stripping.
In an excerpt from the book, Wilkinson reveals her first encounter with Hefner, admitting she didn’t feel at home in the Playboy Mansion:
At the end of the night Hef came up to me, gave me a key, and asked me to stay the night. I couldn’t — mainly because Zack was sitting outside the Mansion in his car, but beyond that, I felt that being there that night was a job, and I wanted to keep it that way. Clock in. Clock out.
Today, Wilkinson says she’s finally happy with her stable domestic life with her husband, NFL star Hank Baskett, and their son. “I’ve been through a lot and I’ve gotten through it. It’s kind of easy to tell my story now that I’m through all that. I’m home. I’m safe. I’m where I’ve always wanted to be,” Wilkinson reveals.
