During a radio broadcast that aired Monday, Fox’s Glenn Beck joked that he’d foreseen former “Countdown” host and “biggest pain in the ass in the world” Keith Olbermann’s abrupt MSNBC leave.

“We have the audio of me predicting one of the…many, many times that I predicted firing,” Beck said, adding that Olbermann had previously declared him as “Worst Person in the World.”

Beck complimented Olbermann for being a strong sports broadcaster and wished him the best, but noted that he had a reputation for being difficult to work with.

“You can handle the mediocre ratings if the guy’s not a total pain in the ass, but from every indication, Keith Olbermann is the biggest pain in the ass in the world,” Beck said. “Nobody liked working with him, and he was impossible to work with, and just from what I’ve seen from the news, and I don’t want to get into the nonsense that you hear behind the scenes…just what you hear on the news, who can run a company with someone like that? They just don’t care about anything…Apparently not Comcast.”

Beck said Lawrence O’Donnell is a “boring” temporary replacement for Olbermann, but is “at least brutally honest about who he is and what he believes, and so he says it, he says what he means and means what he says.”
