Kim Kardashian and her two sisters Kendall and Kylie appeared to be texting on their phones during the Ferguson tribute, which included a moment of silence for Michael Brown, at the 2014 MTV VMAs Sunday night.
Rapper Common led the audience in a moment of silence for the Missouri resident who was shot and killed by a local police officer Aug. 9, but when the camera cut to the audience during the tribute, the beacons of social change were on their phones and Kim was adjusting her cleavage.
The online livestream shots could have been taken during earlier portions of the show and later dubbed in, but we are talking about the Kardashians here, so they probably weren’t.
