Tulane University shortstop Stephen Alemais turned arguably the best double play of the 2016 season during the Green Wave’s Tuesday matchup with LSU.
During the bottom of the fourth, Alemais snagged a ground ball on the second base side of the bag. Instead of playing it safe and taking the sure out at first, he made a behind-the-back flip — against his momentum — to start an inning-ending, run-saving DP.
