Washington Redskins star Josh Norman took off his cleats and signed them as a gift for Marine Corps Commandant General Robert Neller.
Norman came over to the sidelines before his Sunday game against the Minnesota Vikings, took off his cleats and signed them for Neller and couple other military officers.

They appear to be the same cleats he wore last week, and they have a military theme for “all whom served beneath the Stars.”

There are plenty of things to complain about when it comes to the NFL, that’s why it’s cool to see Norman’s gesture. It’s a small gesture in the long run, but it’s still a nice change of pace from what fans are growing used to in the NFL. A simple sign of respect for the military a day after Veterans Day is pretty neat.
