The drama with UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen’s decision on whether or not to enter the NFL draft recently took another interesting turn.
It turns out the Cleveland Browns, who hold the first pick, might not even want Rosen. Draft analyst Tony Pauline pointed out that the Browns general manager John Dorsey isn’t too hot on Rosen.
I don’t think Jon Dorsey cares- he was the one we mentioned as saying “stay away” from Rosen before getting the job in Cleveland https://t.co/LgoHOGbYCA https://t.co/W9AT4k7wum

This is interesting, and there are two major takeaways to focus on. First, Dorsey might actually not care about Rosen or want him. This seems like the easiest solution. There’s next to no indication that Rosen wants to be in Cleveland. The Browns not wanting him either would make things very easy.
There is a second option, and that’s this is all mind games. Rosen probably won’t enter the draft if he thinks Cleveland will draft him. Dorsey could sell the idea he has no interest, Rosen enters the draft and he takes him first overall. Crazier things have certainly happened.
Stay tuned because this drama isn’t ending anytime soon.
