Eagles Defensive End Chris Long has no plans to visit the White House after the Super Bowl, win or lose.
The hosts of “Pardon My Take” asked Long about his stance on a visit to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave this morning.
“If you guys win the Super Bowl, are you going to the White House?” one host asked.
“No, I’m not going to the White House,” Long said, laughing. “Are you kidding me?”
Last year when Long played for New England, he also declined a visit to the White House to after the Patriots’ fourth Super Bowl win.
And while some of his teammates declined the visit more quietly, Long proceeded to attack his critics in a string of pretty aggressive tweets over the course of a day.

That last part is true at least. The Chris Long Foundation services communities in need of clean water and shelter, as well as helping veterans who return from duty in need of extra care and rehabilitation.
The defensive end has a pretty extensive history of activism and community involvement. This year he donated his entire Eagles salary to schools in need to help kids gain “upward mobility and equality.” He also urged the NFL to donate all of the proceeds it made from selling underdog masks to Philadelphia schools in need.
Last year, Long explained in a video that he believed “the right thing was not to go” to the White House.
