Actress Diane Keaton defended renowned director Woody Allen in a tweet Monday, despite Allen’s stepdaughter’s allegations of his sexual abuse.

Keaton, 72, tweeted her support for Allen and called him her friend. The “Annie Hall” actress’ tweet included Allen’s 1992 “60 Minutes” interview, in which he defended himself against accusations that he molested his stepdaughter, Dylan Farrow, reported Page Six.

“Woody Allen is my friend and I continue to believe him. It might be of interest to take a look at the 60 Minute interview from 1992 and see what you think,” tweeted Keaton.

Despite Keaton’s support for Allen, a series of actors have spoked out against the director and voiced their support for Farrow, following her interview detailing her father’s alleged abuse when she was a child. Actress Kate Winslet said Sunday that she now regrets working with Allen during a speech. Actor Colin Firth also said that he would no longer work for Allen in a Jan. 18 statement.
