After news broke that Barbara Bush had passed away Tuesday, many Americans were mourning and remembering her life, while others were gleeful about trolling.
Fresno State professor Randa Jarrar provoked the most controversy of all after she went into a sickening rant against Bush, saying, “Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. Fuck outta here with your nice words.” (RELATED: Liberal College Professor Calls Barbara Bush ‘Racist,’ Cheers Her Death)
She also reportedly said, “I’m happy the witch is dead.”

Writer and author Jennifer de Guzman slammed Bush as “racist.”
I normally don’t do stuff like this, but Barbara Bush’s comments about victims of Katrina were disgusting and racist. “And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway,” she said, “so this is working very well for them.” https://t.co/AJRWzQhD8s

I don’t know why so many people I follow her are lauding her as a “class act” or some kind of secular saint.

Venus Di’Khadijah Selenite, a self-described “poet, writer, performance artist, sex worker, witch, CrashPad Series star, Trans Women Writers Collective editor, teacher, and advocate,” called the late first lady “racist as fuck.”
Barbara Bush was racist as fuck. I’m remembering her comments made after Hurricane Katrina. I have no sympathy. The Bush family is an entire Klan on their own. So there.

Journalist, activist, and former Green Party candidate Rosa Clemente took issue with the Women’s March honoring Barbara Bush.
This is so so disappointing. The things she and her family have down to global Black people is criminal, to say the least. She is part of the system of white supremacy, anti Black, anti feminist, as Malcolm said “who taught you to hate yourself?”

Comedian Peter Coffin said, “Geez, I get it. Barbara Bush is dead. Can we stop acting like it matters to anyone but a family of war criminals?”
