One of the four women accusing New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman of physically assault said he belittled gun control activists.

Despite Schneiderman’s liberal position on guns, one of his accusers, ex-girlfriend Manning Barrish, told The New Yorker that when she wanted to participate in a gun control rally with several political activists and Sandy Hook Elementary School parents, he scoffed at the idea, calling the protesters “losers.”

“Go ahead, if it makes you feel better to do your little political things.”

Barrish also said he insulted her when she worked on her computer saying, “Oh, look at little Mimi. So cute—she’s working!” He told Manning Barish that because she had childcare, she wasn’t “a real single mother.”

Schneiderman’s marginalization of gun control activists is contrary to a recent tweet he put out on March 14 which included a jab at the National Rifle Association, saying that the anti-gun March for Our Lives Protests could not be easily ignored.

Schneiderman also published a video on March 14 of him sitting down with students from Manhattan’s Bard High School Early College as they all discuss gun control.

Schneiderman resigned hours after the explosive allegations surfaced Monday night in The New Yorker.
