Tina Turner’s Oldest Son Found Dead At 59 Of Apparent Suicide

Tina Turner’s oldest son Craig Raymond Turner was found dead Tuesday of an apparent suicide. He was 59.

According to Variety, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed that the 78-year-old singer’s son was found in dead in his Studio City, California, home Tuesday afternoon with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Authorities are currently on scene and the investigation is ongoing pending an autopsy,” the medical examiner’s office told Fox News.

Craig is the son of the legendary singer and her then boyfriend Raymond Hill, a saxophonist for the Kings of Rhythm band. Tina  later married Ike Turner in 1962 and Craig was adopted by Ike.

The eight-time Grammy winner’s son was in the real estate business in the San Fernando Valley. According to his Rodeo Realty description, he was a member of the the National Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors.

The “What’s Love Got To Do With It” singer also has another son, Ronnie.
