Trump And Melania Take Time To Visit Children In Europe

President Trump and the first lady took time out of their busy Europe schedules to participate in a meet-and-greet with children on Wednesday evening.

Dan Scavino Jr., the director of social media at the White House and an assistant to President Trump, tweeted a photo of the Trumps surrounded by children smiling after meeting the president and first lady.

President Trump is currently in Brussels meeting with NATO allies. Earlier on Wednesday, he made headlines for going after other NATO allies for not reaching their agreed upon goal of 2-percent GDP spending on defense. Trump and French President Emanuel Macron also joked together earlier in the day after Macron made a statement in French.

“It sounded beautiful. I have no idea what he said. It sounded great,” Trump said despite being unable to understand French, which made everyone laugh. (RELATED: Trump’s Joke To Macron Even Had The Press Corps Laughing)
