MSNBC contributor Elise Jordan asserted that Trump is “indeed a scumbag” on Wednesday’s edition of “Morning Joe.”

Jordan, a Republican and former Rand Paul speechwriter, argued that Paul Manafort’s conviction and Michael Cohen’s guilty plea will not affect Trump’s base because the base already knows he’s a bad person.
“This is his base,” MSNBC anchor Mika Brzezinski said. “Will the base be moved?”
“Well, Mika, the short answer is no, it’s very baked in as of now and it’s not going to change that Donald Trump is indeed a scumbag,” Jordan replied. “Voters know that. They do not expect him to be the kind of man who treats his wife with any decency and dignity and that is a known and isn’t going to necessarily move the most hardcore voters.”
Jordan added that she thinks it’s possible that women who voted for Trump might be turned off by his behavior.
