Former Philadelphia Phillies legend Lenny Dykstra is in trouble with the law…again.
The star outfielder, 55, was arrested this spring for a slew of violations, including possession of cocaine and meth, and threatening an Uber driver in late May. (RELATED: Baseball Legend Arrested. The Allegations Are Horrific)

And on Wednesday, Dykstra, who also played for the New York Mets, was formally charged with possession of the aforementioned substances, as well as making terroristic threats to his driver, who believed the star had a gun on him at the time. Dykstra told police he believed his Uber driver was going to kidnap him, but there’s no clear evidence that this is true. It also doesn’t explain why he reportedly had drugs on his person at the time. He’ll stand before a grand jury in Union County, N.J. to await his fate as the case moves forward.
But the former World Series champion is maintaining his innocence.
“A grand jury will indict a ham sandwich,” Dykstra’s attorney, Matthew Bilt, told TMZ. “The evidence in this case overwhelmingly confirms Lenny is innocent.”
If found guilty, Dykstra could go away for 3-5 years for each charge.
