What a wild situation in the world of football over the past couple of days. First, we had a New York Giants draft pick get shot in Kansas and now Texas Tech has had a player hit by gunfire. (RELATED: New York Giants Draft Pick Corey Ballentine Shot In Topeka, Kansas)
What the hell is happening right now? It’s a scary situation for sure, and it’s so much violence over the past 48 hours in the world of football.
Luckily, the police have a man in custody for his alleged shooting of Scott. Right now, the last thing on Scott’s mind should be getting back on the field for the Red Raiders.
He should be healing up and letting the criminal justice system do its thing. It’s scary to think the young man went to a Big 12 program to play football and it nearly ended in tragedy.
Hopefully, Jackson is brought to justice if he’s guilty of pulling the trigger. What an awful situation all the way around.
