“Orange is the New Black” is apparently the most popular show on all of Netflix.
According to Variety, a recent survey from MoffettNathanson/HarrisX revealed viewers on the streaming service picked “Orange is the New Black” as the most popular show. “Stranger Things” came in second.
I only have one reaction to these results, and you can see it below.
I just finished “Stranger Things,” and will have a full review for you guys later today, Thursday. Without diving into that too much, I can promise you “Orange is the New Black” shouldn’t be anywhere near the top of the list.
The first couple seasons were solid, but the show fell off fast. I eventually just quit watching because I couldn’t take it anymore. (RELATED: ‘The Office‘ Will Leave Netflix In January 2021, Will Stream On NBC Platform)
The same can’t be said about “Stranger Things,” “Ozark,” “The Office” and a ton of other shows. Anybody who honestly thinks “OITNB” is at the top simply has no idea what they’re talking about.
I’m honestly a bit shook by these results. I can’t believe there are people out there who actually believe “Stranger Things” should be behind the female prison show.
Imagine a person actually telling you to your face they thought “OITNB” was the best show on Netflix. It’s a laughable idea.
“Ozark,” “Stranger Things,” “The Office” and a handful of other shows are all better than “Orange is the New Black,” and it’s not even close.
Do better, viewers. Do much better.
