Actress Selena Gomez shared her birthday surprise with her followers in an Instagram post Monday.
Gomez, 27, was surprised with a trip to watch the taping of her favorite show “Shark Tank” for her birthday by friends, according to a report published by Entertainment Tonight.
“The Dead Don’t Die” actress posted a video of her reaction to the news. In the clip, “Shark Tank” host Mark Cuban wished Gomez a happy birthday. A friend in the video informed Gomez that they were going to see the show in person.

Gomez shared the photo with the caption, “Not many of you know but I am obsessed with shark tank. Two of my best friends nailed my gift.”
Gomez turned 27 years old on July 22. She shared a photo on Instagram and thanked her fans for all of the birthday love, writing in the caption, “Well I’m 27 now. I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your words on my bday. Not just the quick notes. The thought that goes behind every word you write usually ends up with me crying grateful tears like I did last night. Praying for all of you!! I LOVE YOU.”
Gomez is one of the most down to earth celebrities out there and her being this excited to go to a “Shark Tank” taping just proves it. She very obviously does normal things most celebrities wouldn’t do.
I’ll be watching for the “Shark Tank” episode where they bring Gomez out.
