Illinois center Kofi Cockburn threw down a monster dunk Sunday during a 63-37 win over Purdue.

The freshman star caught an alley-oop pass in the first half against the Boilermakers, and proceeded to smash it home over two defenders. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Yes, two people were dumb enough to try to get in the way, and neither one came close to stopping him. Watch the awesome play below.

How many times do I have to say it? How many times do I have to remind people to never jump to get in the way of a dunk?

Do you know what you do when somebody is going to try to dunk on you? You either get out of the way or you absolutely hammer them.

Do you know what you don’t do? You don’t try to jump with them, especially when it’s the caliber of a player like Cockburn.

You’re just asking to get embarrassed.

Trust me, it’s not worth getting dunked on. It’s just not. Getting smashed on is something you don’t shake. It’s with you for a long time.

Two Purdue defenders had to learn that the hard way. Next time, get out of Cockburn’s way. The man is a star, and most players don’t want any part of that business.*

*Wisconsin wants that business. You best believe he won’t pull this off against us.
