Todd Gurley seemed to be in high spirits after the Los Angeles Rams cut him Thursday.

Gurley was released by the Rams before more than $10 million more on his deal would have become fully guaranteed. He’s now free to sign with any team in the league. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Despite finding himself unemployed, he seemed to be in high spirits about the whole thing. He tweeted late Thursday afternoon, “Damn I got fired on my day off [crying and laughing emoji] #QuaratineAndChill.”

I’m guessing Gurley saw this coming because he doesn’t really seem to care at all. I don’t think most people would react so casually if they lost their job.

He seems to be doing just fine during these trying times.

Of course, he doesn’t really have any reason to be mad. His agent hooked him up with one of the best deals for a player and the worst for an organization in league history.

He got $45 million guaranteed from the Rams and proceeded to have his production drop off of a cliff. I’m sure Gurley is laughing all the way to the bank right now as he counts his millions of dollars.

Plus, he’s 100% going to get signed by another team. So, he really doesn’t have anything to be worried about at all. Trust me, folks. Todd Gurley won’t be struggling to put food on the table anytime soon.
