Wisconsin got some huge praise in the rankings for next basketball season.

In the popular Torvik rankings, the Badgers are sixth overall for the 2020-21 season. Only Gonzaga, Virginia, Baylor and Creighton came in ahead of them. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Don’t be surprised if you see a lot more of this going into next season. The Badgers rocked and rolled through the B1G season once 2020 started.

Greg Gard had the guys in Madison absolutely rolling by the time March got here. We won the B1G regular season, we got the top seed in the conference tournament and would have won the whole damn thing if coronavirus hadn’t canceled sports.

Despite the fact March Madness didn’t happen, I still declared us national champions and we won ESPN’s tournament simulation.

Now, we’re getting more and more hype heading into next year, and it’s still March 2020. Again, our haters and critics better get used to that noise because it’s not going to stop.

You better buy stock in the Badgers while we can because this rocket ship is only going up. Our roster is loaded, we only lose one guy and I expect Gard to have us running like a well oiled tank next year.

It’s a damn good time to be a fan of the Badgers!
