Musician Kanye West has successfully filed paperwork to have his name on the ballot in New Jersey and Missouri, per the New York Daily News.
Kanye collected 1,327 signatures in New Jersey, which was higher than the required 800 signatures, according to state documents. The deadline to be submitted was Monday for independent candidates.

Kanye also submitted paperwork to be put on the ballot in Missouri, according to the Kansas City Star. Maura Browning, a spokeswoman for Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft, told the outlet that election officials will have to verify that all 10,000 signatures came from registered voters before Kanye is allowed to appear on the presidential ballot alongside President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden. The musician is now reportedly working on submitting paperwork to appear on the ballot in New York. He needs 30,000 signatures by Thursday, according to the New York Post.
Kanye recently failed to make it onto the ballot in South Carolina, but did make it on in Oklahoma.
Kanye first announced he was running for president on July 4 on Twitter.
