“Stranger Things” star David Harbour has high hopes for the new season.

The fourth season of the hit Netflix show has no set release date, but hype has been building. Now, it sounds like the man who plays Hopper might take a dark turn. (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)

Harbour told People the following about the upcoming season:

And one of the great things that you can see with Hopper is that he was a protector, he’s a man of justice [and] he now has become a prisoner. He’s trapped and he’s isolated. And we get to see an entirely other color of him that has been hinted at…This season is my favorite because he really is going to show you some new colors and what he’s really made up of.

I’m honestly super excited for season four of “Stranger Things.” I absolutely can’t wait to see what happens. Hopper is an all-time great character, and we know he’s not Hawkins anymore.

In fact, not only is he not in Hawkins, there’s a great chance that he’s not even in the United States of America anymore.

After season three ended, it looked like he somehow managed to find his way to Russia, and Harbour’s comments seem to support that theory.

We just need season four to get here sooner than later. It’s been too long, and fans are tired of waiting. That much is for sure.

Keep checking back for more updates on “Stranger Things” as we have them. Hopefully, it’s not too much longer before season four gets here.
